HI,
I suggest you boot from a known good, dos (or win), boot disk, with
scandisk or similar program on it and run from the disk. Sounds like a
virus may be taking the memory that you say it is running out of.
Removing one of the present memory chips in the system should give you
an idea of how to put memory back into it, if that is really what you
meant to say.
Thanks and have a Great Day!

I've got this motherboard and the numbers on there are: AI5TH-1.00, but
I can't find a manual for it anywhere. I need to find out how to put the
memory chips in the slots.
When I do a scandisk, it stops after 6%, saying out of memory. The 8gig
hdd seems to be full of bad clusters, but no matter what I do, I can't
seem to get past this 6%. Any suggestions or any one out there that has
a manual would be great.
I tried to reformat the hdd but get stuck at the scandisk bit.
