I cannot think of any reason I (or anyone else) would intentionally leave
water sitting out in the sun. Who wants to drink warm water, especially in
the summer? Although I don't like ice water, I like it cold right out of the
tap (which in my case comes from our well). If I'm going somewhere and I want
to take a bottle of water with me, and it's very hot out (and right now the
AC in my van is broken!) I will put a few ice cubes in it to keep it cool.
But the next time I'm looking for a "gender bender high", maybe I WILL leave
a bottle out in the sun! LOL!
