Subject: Weight Rebounding

> In any case, I was reading some information today on the total lack of
effectiveness of ANY diet for long-term weight loss. There are
exceptions of course, but in the main, my experience is common. This
was from Doctor Dean Edell's Eat Drink and be Merry book.

ups and downs and if any successful people had good advice for keeping
it off when you get there.

The problem lies in looking at it as a 'diet.' It has to become a way of
life. As soon as you go back to eating too many carbohydrates you will
gain. It isn't the fault of low-fat, low-carb, paleo, fat-flush, the
zone, sugarbusters - or any other so-called 'diet.' You need to find a
plan you can live with, and you have to get your mind into a place that
will accept that your body just can't function on sugar and wheat. The
very fact that you got thin and healthy on a paleo diet should tell you
what you have to do. Good luck with whichever plan you choose!
