       Well, these politicians are serious and view themselves as patriots.
Most of south Texas has traditionally been Demo. terriitory including Austin.
Well, most of Texas was Democrats until the 60's. Now that Republicans have
made serious inroads (we have a Republican governor and a majority in the
Senate, the Dems are using guerrilla tactics. Texas politics has always been
wild and shall we say, unorthodox. These are no different from the Tennessee
politicians who let their state sink into a budget crisis.
