Our next meeting will be on August 17th at Faith Lutheran Church in Clive.
The address there is 10395 University Avenue, where University intersects
with 104th Street (Clive) and 42nd Street (West Des Moines).

Please plan to be there around 11:30, and we'll try to eat promptly at
noon.  Bring a gluten-free dish to share, along with the recipe for it that
will be typed up and given to all the people on our list.  If you are newly
diagnosed and are worried about cooking with cross-contamination, just come
and eat.  You'll be surprised at ALL the good food there!

Remember that family members are invited - - this diet affects everyone in
your family.  They should be made aware of how well we actually can eat.
(My husband thinks these are the best pot-luck dinners he's ever been to!)

We will provide plates, utensils and beverages.  A free-will offering will
be taken to help defray the cost of the facility, supplies and mailings.

The theme of this pot-luck dinner is Cooking With an International Flair.
We all have special ethnic backgrounds or love some kind of ethnic foods.
What's your favorite?  Let's have Italian, German, Chinese, Greek,
Scandinavian, French, Mexican, British - - it'll be fun to try them all.
(But if anyone brings haggis, I might not try it!)
