Here are the results of the question I asked about cottage cheese. Thanks to all who responded!
Jan

2 people said that Kroger's brand (lowfat) was GF.
3 people said that Breakstone's made by Kraft is GF
One said that Friendship low fat was GF.
2 said that Safeway's brand was GF.
3 people said to stay away from the no fat, and low fat, because after they've taken the fat out, the stuff is runny, so they put flour in to thicken it back up.
1 said that Blue Bunny was GF.

And one posted this website: http://forums.prospero.com/celiac/start and click on the gluten-free product list.

Thanks to everyone!
Jan
