1) you will probably get thousands of replies, like this: wheat germ oil is
NOT gf, but the synthetic Vit E is.

2) please tell me what you find out about Ginseng. I take it every day and
have for 30 yrs.

3) If is contains the word wheat it is not gf.

4) where in the world did you see wheat germ oil listed as gluten free? I
can't imagine that it would be! That sounds crazy to me.

5) IT CAN'T BE GLUTEN FREE

6) Wheat germ oil is allowed (ie gluten-free) in the CCA pocket dictionary.

7) I have my little blue book. Yes it says wheat germ oil is OK but I had
always thought that was a typo. How can wheat germ be bad and wheat germ oil
be good ??? Is it something in the processing (like the distillation of
vinegar) I do eat wheatgrass, even though the CCA says no on that one. I
would need to know more about the processing of wheat germ oil. It says "A
refined oil extracted from wheat germ".

8) Wheat germ oil most definitely is NOT GF. Not only have I heard this
before, but it is on celiac.com's forbidden list.
wheat germoil...is madefrom wheat germ....what's confusing you, I think is
that VitE is usually made from wheat germ oil OR a gf source. Ditch the
wheat germ oil

9) The Pocket Dictionary does list wheat germ oil as gluten-free. Apparently
the gliadin protein (the problem part of wheat) is not soluble in oil, so
the oil itself is gluten free.
