I'm further south than your homeland, Tom, but let me add to your list.
Muscadine (aka Scuppernong) grapes ripen in the fall and are native to the
U.S.  They grow abundantly around here.  There are probably some other
native varieties too.  Mustang and "fox" grapes come to mind, but I know
less about those.

Persimmons are starting to ripen now and will continue into late Nov. or
early Dec.  These are the native, not naturalized, varieties.
