First of all, nowhere did I say that he is a paleo "advocate". He does have
significant sections of his later books that discuss paleo concepts. However,
rather than simply saying "just try to eat what paleolithic man eats", instead
he uses the paleo concepts together with other knowledge, such as how hormones
affect the physiology, and how diet affects the hormonal system.

Second, he is not a "Big soy advocate". He wrote a book about soy, which
doesn't automatically equate to advocating it. He is certainly aware of many
of the problems of soy, especially its effect on hormones. Mostly the book was
about how to be a vegetarian and still get sufficient protein intake (realizing
that there are many personal, ethical and religious reasons that people have
for being a vegetarian).
