--Picked this up from another list re: which amino acids can be converted to
glucose.  'Twas said it's easier to remember the ketogenic ones, leucine &
lysine.  Isoleucine, phenylalanine & tryptophan are both ketogenic and
glucogenic.  The rest are glucogenic.

Can anyone tell me if the middle triad above convert equally or whether they
convert to one direction or the other based on other factors either w/in the
body or in the diet?
