I've seen 3 coverages of the Taube article on CNN, MSNBC, and Dateline NBC.

I have to disagree that there was much of anything good said.

On CNN and Dateline NBC, it went like this:

Atkins or Sears - Low-carb is the easiest way to lose weight and keep it off.

AMA Dr. or Ornish - Eating protein and fat will kill you eventually.

IN BOTH CASES, the low-carb advocate was not given a chance to rebut the FALSE
health statements, and so CNN and NBC were both clearly trying to push the idea
that low-carb works, but will kill you.

This is because there is still no public airing of the truth that the low-fat
diet is WORSE for your health, not better.

PS The exception as usual is MSNBC, the only place on TV where there is ever
anything close to the truth, but only a small fraction of the public watches
that channel anyway.
