Hi!  When you turn the knob until it beeps while in memory mode, that means
you've gotten back to Memory 0.  What I do is to go to Memory 0, then turn
the knob one click to the left to get the last memory.  Then, I go into VFO
mode, press Enter, key in the freq, hit the Function Key, turn the knob one
click to the right, then hit Memory recall.  Seems to work OK.--Matt.
