Anthony,

I believe the short dual band antenna was the 500 model but I can't remember
now. I gave it to a friend to use. I am familiar with the 2000 tri band
antenna to which you refer but keep in mind, even with all the six meter
activity around the Denver area, you can listen for days and not hear a
single signal on SSB or FM. Until I get my beam up, I am just using a
quarter wave 6 meter vertical and I have worked a couple of local guys but
signals are not all that great with verticals at that frequency for long
distances. When the band opens, however, it is a lot of fun and does not
take much of an antenna to do well.

Phil.
