Hi Harry,
I have DSL through SBC/AT&T and the cd is just a walkthrough of how to
install the filters on your phone line and there
browser software, which you don't have to use. If you use their cd then
you will have to sign in to your account whenever
you want to get online. The whole idea of DSL is to be connected all
the time. Personally I use Firefox (internet) and
Thunderbird (e-mail). As far as the filters go you just plug one in to
each phone line in your house so you don't here the squeal
when your on the phone. The filter on the line that is going to your pc
will have both your phone line and the data line plugged
in. You may need a sighted person to help you so you don't plug them in
the wrong way. If you call SBC/AT&T to do install
it they charge like 200$ for something that takes 15 minutes. Hope this
helps and doesn't confuse you. Good luck.
Vicki
