Good news, JFW 6 provides better access to the outlook calendar which is the
main problem. I've been using Outlook 2003 with JAWS 51 for 1 year now and
love it. I am totally blind, so I'm not using the screen at all.
One key difference with outlook 2003, and the reason you found not useable,
is that when you land on a folder like "Inbox" you have to hit enter to
highlight that folder and then you just tab once and boomb your in the
folder. One thing I like is in the left side where the folder list is, there
are other kind of dynamic folders like "Unread" "flagged for follow up"
these help keep email better organized. For example you can hit enter on
"Unread" tab once and you can quickly view all unread emails. This helps
with clean up. Also, the "Junk" folder, once you have it set up, works
pretty good.

Subject: Outlook 2003 & JAWS
Hi all. My employer is about to switch to Outlook 2003 from good old
reliable Outlook 2000 and I am interested to know whether or not it will be
a usable product. The first time I tried it I found it difficult if not
impossible to use so am a little nervous about the move. Have Freedom
Scientific or Microsoft done anything to make it easier to use? Any
suggestions or guidance will be greatly appreciated.
