Hello Peter,
David is right, both programs have changed significantly and there is no
"smooth" transition. The one thing that is easier is that MS Word has
become the mainstream word processing application, so you'll find more
tutorials and keyboard help for MS Word.

One thing I miss about using WordPerfect 6.1 and a Braille display is
the ease of formatting documents, and being able to create my own graphs
and charts. But now days those same graphs that were very cool are
amateurish looking. The software has just advanced that much. Also, let
me say, that though I miss those 2 things, I don't regret changing to
windows.

Subject: WordPerfect for Windows

Hello All,

Does anybody here use WordPerfect for Windows?

I've been using WordPerfect 6.1 for DOS for many years, and I'm warey of
abandoning it for Word, just to have a word processor that is compatible
with the Windows system.

I'm thinking that a Windows-based version of WordPerfect may be a good
way
to make the transition.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Peter Seymour
