I usually use  WebTurbotax myself.  True, it costs something, but it's
very accessible and easy to use. It's at HTTP://www.webturbotax.com

it is free for federal taxes only.  they all charge to prepare state
taxes. they agreed to do this free because the federal government
promised to not develop a free online filing application if they
provided free filing for at least 60 percent of taxpayers.
