Thank you. I am concerned it should be accessible across the board. Even
if it is internal it should be accessible. Just as the buildings of an
organization should be accessible so should its electronic and information
technology.
Seems to me at this point it should be done as a matter of course. I know
it is not, but I believe it should be.

If I have read the article correctly, the banks wouldn't have to make this
accessible. This is for bank employees only. The check images will be passed
between banks. In the old days checks, the paper was passed between banks.
The check didn't clear until the bank the check was drawn on got the paper
on, back. Since the 911 tragedies, banks now move the electronic image
between banks. Electronic images move faster than paper checks.
Now if you were a bank employee you might have a concern. As a bank customer
needing a print out of a check you would just request it from the teller.
