Just a comment from my 20 plus years of seeing people try to
invent new braille displays.

I know no more than is in the news story about this thin film one,
but it sounds like a much better plan than anything else I've
heard of.  Sounds like it can be built using thin film depositing
technology, thus mass produceable, fewer moving parts etc.

don't get our hopes up too high, but I'm less pesamistic about
this one than many others.
