I've had this problem, too. Especially if someone else uses Excel on my
computer and changes some of the settings. I always have to call GW Micro
and get them to run through all the correct settings with me. But here's
how I've set it up so it reads the cell names as well as their contents.
Hope this helps. If not, the Window Eyes folks can tell you what else needs
to be tweeked.
These are all from the view menu (alt V I think)
Normal is checked
Pagebreak preview is not checked
Task pane is checked.
In the toolbars submenu, standard is checked.
Formula bar, status bar, and full screen are all checked.
Comments is not checked.
I haven't messed with any of the settings within the zoom dialog or the
header and footer dialog. Hope this is helpful.
