Howdy all,
Using Win/95, Jaws 4.02, OE 5.5.
Yesterday went in and did a complete disc scan, cleaned all up, did a
de-frag, cleaned out Internet temp and and regular temp folder. Shut down
computer, went and got a fire water, andwent to bed.
This morning after starting computer, went on-line, got mail, shut off
Internet connection, and went about non computer business. Came back an hour
later and Jaws was dead. Restarted computer and checked in Windows fault log
which had no new entries. Went to scan disc log and the following message
was there:
Directory structure

         Directory entry
         C:\WINDOWS\APPLIC~1\IDENTI~1\{4F501~1\MICROS~1\OUTLOO~1\CLEANUP.LOG
had
         an incorrect size.
ScanDisk did not correct the directory entry.
What does this incorrect size mean?
This same problem has happened many times. Think I should remove and then
re-install OE?
Is there an easy way of getting into the Microsoft data bases and put the
question to it?
I have tried using that site with no good results before.
Sorry to be so long winded, but could not make it any more brief.
Thanks,
Morey
