This is just what I dislike most and think is a criminal waste about Braille
Lites, Braille Notes, etc.  No standard languages and protocols make these
small devices useless for interface with stand alone units like ATM or
Catalog kiosks.

I had, and still have, a little hope for the Braille Note because it is
Windows CE but it amazes me that people keep buying these things that won't
cable together.

I believe that the technology world is living in the Divide and Conquer
mode, they can keep us separate if they work it just so ...
