Sounds like you now have the Award BIOS bug of around 32-33G
limitation....     Seven Gigs is a lot to give up...

I'd get a cheap ATA controller card and go the distance...

PS: As I read your message, there is NO BIOS overlay, but you had
to lie to the BIOS anyway with the jumpers... (?)
