Yes, the wild berries around here (Northern Vermont, USA) certainly
ripen successively. First strawberries, then red raspberries and
blueberries, then black raspberries, then blackberries. Stretches out
from maybe mid-June to late August. The raspberries, for example, will
be completely ripened and gone before the blackberries get ripe.
