Yus,
I agree in total, I did mine at work too but after a second reading I spotted two mistakes already which I apologise for and regret equally. I don't blame you or anyone for that matter.
Just in passing, let me remind those people (including myself) who have read and probably believed the story printed by the Independence Newspaper last week about the marriage of H. E. Yahya Jammeh's third wife, supposedly a Jola girl, are at odds with the unyielding and unforgiven arm of the law. BBC Focus on Africa and Ebrima Sillah (Dec. 12, 1999) has it that two of the paper's Editors viz - The Editor-in-Chief Baba Galleh Jallow, the Managing Editor Yorro Jallow and a Staff Writer MB Daffeh have been picked up and charged for libel against what the officials referred to as an untrue story about the President's marriage to a third wife. No date has yet been fixed for the hearings.
However, at this point they are presume innocent until otherwise proven guilty before a competent Court of law/jurisdiction. Nonetheless, that is why in hindsight Journalists I believe must always ascertain the authenticity/veracity of their stories before they put pen to paper, however high the price tag of such stories maybe in monetary terms.
In the name of transparency and accountability, allota a continua.
OB Silla.
