It is with great sadness that I bing you the news of the passing of Auntie
Maggie Loum, the mother of one of the founders of G-L Tony Loum, and one of
the former list managers, Sarian Loum.
My sincere condolences to my former neighbours and friends, Mamlie, Hector,
Mama, Tony and Sarian Loum, and to the extended family.
I remember auntie Maggie as if it were yesterday, during my entire high
school days when the family were our neighbours on Brown street. She and her
sister, the late auntie Anta Wassa were some of the adults that helped keep
us kids in the neighbourhood in check, and all of us had a great deal of
respect for them.
May auntie Maggie's soul rest in peace.
Jabou Joh
