That's great for 94! Laura's headed up to visit her great aunt next week.
This lady still drives, gardens, cleans her own house and, yeah, has at
least one "highball" (as she calls them) per day at 103! From the
performance she put on at our wedding in '90 (age 90), I'd say she'd
preserved from the inside out. She jokes that she'd like to stop drinking,
but the docs say it would kill her. I've read so much about your mom,
Bobby, I can tell you're very proud. She sounds too cool.
Yeah, the spasms/pain have been a drag, but they'll eventually settle down.
It's just disappointing for everyone that they happened this weekend. The
Old Man and I had big plans. Neither of my parents can stand to sit around
and "visit", so they've planned the balance of their stay visiting their old
haunts. Kind of disappointed that they don't want to do more with the
younger grandkids. Laura's p*ssed about that--I can't blame her, I guess.

Kyle,
Mom is better than I am. She is something for a 94 year old. I am so
sorry to hear about your spasms. That's got to be unbearable and with your
folks visiting is a real bummer.
