thanks for the link to Icom's page.  I think it was easier for me to just print the PDF to the Kesie virtual printer and than read the file, as the return from trace broke lines after only one or tow words at a time.  the total manual from trace was in excess of 500 pages.  

Did anyone else experience similar results.  I tried to do a search and replace in word perfect but the document was too large and kept crashing my system.
