Bud's method works for me also. Don't have candles anymore but was a
real scented candle freak during the 1970's.

Another method which works is to get one of those butane lighters -- but
not the kind for lighting cigarettes but the kind for lighting cigars
and pipes -- the kind with just a hole from which the flame projects.
Point the hole at the wick and flame away. Be sure, however, to test
ahead-of-time so that one knows how far the flame burns -- no need to
singe hair etc.

But the match is the simplest.

Subject: Lighting Candles

Good Evening,

Does anyone have any suggestions how a blind person can light a candle?
