Hi.
Well, this one's relatively easy for me though I am probably more familiar
with the mailman mailing list manager software package than most on the list.
The main web site for qth mailing lists is at:
http://mailman.qth.net
I don't know if you question below was asked in regard to a specific list
so my answer to it will be geniric, I think however that you will be able
to fill in the blanks appropriately and find whatever it is that you're
looking to subscribe too.
To subscribe to any list on mailman.qth.net you have two options, one using
your email program of choice, or a 2nd using your internet browser.
You can either send a note to:

In the message body or the subject line and not both, write only the word
subscribe.
Alternately you can visit an url like the following to subscribe to a qth
mailing list if you know its name:
http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/listname
Of course, insert the correct name for the list.
If you don't know the list's name and you want to see all lists hosted on
mailman.qth.net go to:
http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/
Good luck and hth.
If you have questions, feel free to contact me directly as writing isn't
one of my stronger points.
