Hi Bob, I heard the fall. Hang in there, I've been listening to my local
police for years, that was up until last fall when they went digital, and
I had a hell of a time trying to get a hold of a used portable just to
borrow until the new scanners come out in the fall. This portable
XTS-3000 belonged to someone who has been terminated, and they are not
replacing him, so for the most part the radio is there at his old office
collecting dust. I almost broke down and spent around $1500 for a used
XTS-3000, but then came the issue of having it programmed and persission
from a lot of the higher end users. Where did your police go to the
Western Michigan University TRS?
