Anyone got a favorite portable antenna? I am anticipating some camping over the memorial Day weekend and need to start assembling parts and pieces as the commercial says. I would like to operate 75 through 10 if the bands are open and I can develop antennas.

Does anyone have construction details on a quad loop? I understand that to be likely to have less noise than a g5rv.

Also what is your favorite technique as a blind guy to getting a line over that high tree branch (in this case pine) to lead your antenna skyward?

Thank You!
