Hello John,

Having a Recycled folder on each of your drives is normal. Generally
windows uses each harddrive to store deleted material from that particular
harddrive. Recycled folder use a certain percentage of that harddrive to
store this data. You can empty the bin, but if you wish to have the
recycled bin store deleted files until you empty them, it would not be
recommended to delete these folders manually. In some cases, unless you
disable the recycled Bin explicitly through its options, another recycled
folder will be created on the harddrive the next time you try to delete
something from the particular drive.

Please let me know if you need further information.

Pratik

Subject: Recycle bin on every drive?

Hello,

I notice that a recycle bin appears on all the drives in my system. For
instance, any external drives, hard drives or compact flash cards may
eventually have a recycle bin folder placed on them. Is this desirable? I
think not. Can I somehow turn this off? Can I just delete the RecycleBin
folders from my external drives?

Help appreciated,
John S
