I have also found this to be true.  An occasional tomato doesn't seem to
do anything, but if I eat them regularly, or use tomato products, my
psoriasis returns.  I inherited this condition from my father and his
mother (who knows how far back it goes), but tomatoes or their absence
seem to have no effect on him.  On the other hand, his psoriasis gets
much better if he eats peanuts.  So, I have the impression that some
dietary interventions work for some people, but nothing works for everybody.
