I have noticed through the postings that many of you have children with CD. I have a 20-month-old who has not exhibited any signs of it. After I was diagnosed last month, I encouraged my mother to get tested soon because of her chronic problems. She also told me my grandmother had problems when she was alive. My doctor said I do not need to get my daughter tested unless she exhibits symptoms, but has anyone had their children tested before problems started in order to get better habits in order from a younger age? Also does anyone know if a blood test would show if she had it at this age without any symptoms?
Thank you once again,
Jennifer (Alberta)
