Hi,

In regard to finding a tactile model of the skeleton and
muscular system, you may find something useful at a place like
American 3B Scientific or other company that sells medical
educational material. I know that 3b sells a lot of 'anatomical
model' education devices ranges from models of the heart that
can be taken apart to full skeletons. Their catalog is
accessible online at http://www.3bscientific.com/

They have a horrid drop down menu to select your country. The
direct link to their U.S. website is:
http://www.3bscientific.com/content/index.cfm?Country=U.S.A.

Also be forewarned, this site is heavy into graphics and frames
that make it hard, at least for me, to navigate the site - but
they do have a lot of 'neat' things and they will send you a
print catalog upon request.

Good luck on your search,
Rochelle
