My daughter (16) has been ill with shingles, then
bronchitis, then mono, bronchitis again, and now
symptoms of aching, high fever, and scarlet throat,
all within the last 6 mos. We've been GF and
casein-free since last June.
The tests in the GP's office for this most recent
round of symptoms were negative for strep and negative
for flu. Blood test results indicate elevated ANA
levels (I don't know the exact number yet). Our GP is
suggesting she see a rheumatologist.
Is anyone familiar with elevated ANA levels in a
Celiac who is GF?
