Hi all,

When we say that Braille may be necessary for full time employment, What
kind of full time employment are we talking about that is is it employment
in agencies for the blind or companies such as manufacturing companies?

I ask because from the point of view of say, a manufacturing company,
computer skills would seem to be far more important for a blind person
since he would use a computer to interact with his colleagues and carry out
other job related functions. I fail to see such an employer discriminating
between 2 blind people on the basis of their knowledge of Braille. Of
course, if the lack of knowledge of Braille impairs a blind person's
functionality, it becomes a different issue.
