I received many, many more e-mails since my original summary and wanted to share the new info.
Many people asked for the link to the frito lays list. I don't have the exact link handy but all I did was go
to the frito lay web page and look in the dietary info section. There is a spot for allergen information.
More people wrote to say that they eat frito lays products all the time w/o problem and that their test
results are still coming out ok.
Many people mentioned that original/cheesy doritos list wheat as an ingredient. I should have been more
specific in my original post- only certain flavors of doritos are GF- PLEASE read all the labels before
eating them. One person wrote that the 3D doritos in the big bags are GF but the ones in the little canisters are not-
doesn't make sense, but when do any of these companies do something that makes sense?
Anyway, that was the gist of the latest batch of e-mails, oh, and of course there were the reminders that Frito Lays does
not guarantee against cross contamination so it is consume at your own risk
