It has been quite some time since I tried repeatedly to contact Blue Diamond regarding the different information they have supplied on the gluten free status of the nut thins. Some have been told that they are gf and run on separate lines while others have been told that they are not exactly gf. Their printed literature clearly states that the flour comes from a gluten facility, however, and their package also warns that the nut thins are produced in a facility that also produces wheat products. The combination of the reactions of many posters, the written warning on their box and their brochure, and their refusal to respond to multiple e-mails asking simple straightforward questions such as "does the flour come from a gluten facility" and "are the nut thins made in a facility that also produces wheat products" leads me to conclude that the Blue Diamond Nut Thins do not qualify to be on a gluten free safe foods list.
Those who attacked me after my original posting need not repeat the unkind words. This posting is intended to raise awareness for those who are deciding which products to try.
Take Care.
