I think the intent (not my question or answer) was that it is easier to
get a real clean boot, with no memory problems, off of a floppy.
I'd be hard pressed, (too), trying to figure out how to flash my BIOS
with only XP-PRO available... But --- I would not even give it a
second thought and flash it with a floppy boot disk since the BIOS
doesn't care what actually starts and runs the computer in a case
like this.
