Be careful. I used Partition Manager to change my Win2K
NTFS C:\ partition to FAT32 and was left with an unbootable system.
Luckily I had backed up using Drive Image and easily recovered. (I was
using Partition Magic 6 at the time, which was certified to be
compatible with Win2K. I haven't tried it with Partition Magic 8.)

It may be possible to go from NTFS to FAT32, but it would require more
than just running Partition Manager and rebooting. At the very least it
might require changes to boot.ini.

I used Partition Magic 8 to convert from NTFS to FAT32 on XP, and have run
Win2k in the past on FAT32(I think, since I usually want Win98 to be able to
access all partitions and I like the convenience of FAT32 for local
machines)  PM 8 has the usual disclaimers and you should make a good image
(Drive Image or Ghost) before you start.  I didn't have to change any of the
boot files(boot.ini, etc).  If you have the image you can recover in a few
minutes if something goes wrong.  Good Luck
