Hi, I buy a brand at the health food store which is particularly fresh
because it's pressed in the absence of oxygen and sold in small containers
(http://www.rapunzel.de/seiten/inhalt.htm).

If has a expiration date of at most 4 months but occasionally I freeze some
bottles because they are not available everywhere.
Anyway I keep the oil in the fridge (like the hemp oil too).

My criterium is that it mustn't taste bitter, even not a little.

Grinded flaxseed )with 30% oil) should be beneficial too as it would be the
real source of lignans (anti-cancer). But I don't do it.

Cheers

Amadeus
