I hear ya. I came home one to the dog sick all over the house. She had
eaten a rib bone we had given her and it had upset her stomache so much she
ended up with Pancreatitis. We had to feed her boiled chicken and past for
2 weeks. She didn't want to go back to her dog food little booger.
Now we know no treats from the table and to keep Pepto-Bismol in the house
for her if her tummy gets upset.
I swear we have a whole basket load of medications for the animals. But,
they keep us amused and give back what we put into them.

Oh, the dog is about 12 years old. She had some bacteria infection. Had the
trots, throwing up. Started passing blood. Of course it was weekend and the
vet was closed so we had to carry her to a emergency vet. They took care of
he, but, should have worn a mast when presenting the bill.
But, what is the choice, let the dog die?
She was still in near shock Monday so I stayed with her. Made sure she got
the anti bodies down her and some water and food. Thought she was dead twice
yesterday early.
She was better last night, but still dragy. Sara is looking in on her
today.
You just get attached to your pets.
