Dear Everyone:

Thank you, Axel, for your superb advocacy.

One note: The entire issue is not just about "The ADA" - as the vendor - and
many others - seem to think (this vendor's attempts to be "ADA-friendly",
"ADA-compliant"). What about Section 508: Do vendors want to continue doing
business with the U.S. Government? There are many other accessibility-related
laws in the U.S. and other nations. Why are we = people being defined by a
law? Accessibility is simply the right thing to do - FOR EVERYONE. The
vendor's goal should be to be as PATRON-friendly, PATRON-compliant as
possible.

Suggestion: When talking with vendors and library and information center
personnel, please stress that your advocacy is all about increasing their
market share/number of patrons : i.e. $$$$, i.e. their bottom line, i.e. you
have THEIR personal best interest in mind. After all, is there ANYONE
getting any younger?
