Podcasting: How do You Get Them and How Do You Make Them?
An EASI 2-part Live Chat Webcast Conference Series Presented by Dick Banks.
Wed. Jan. 25 and Feb. 9 Both at 2 PM
Podcasting is sweeping across the World Wide Web like a prairie
fire! First it was our teen age kids, but now it is PBS, BBC Stanford and
now even EASI. Podcasts are short multimedia presentations on various
topics. They can be played online, and there is nothing new about this,
but they can also be downloaded into a small portable player that you can
take with you in your pocket or purse.
The pioneers in podcasting were technology geeks, and the trail they blazed
sometimes assumes that the followers will understand geek speak. There
really isn't much magic in either learning how to join a podcast
subscription or even in creating your own podcasts. EASI loves to
translate tech jargon into plain English, and EASI will present a 2-part,
live series of voice chat Webcast conferences on getting and making
podcasts: January 25 and February 9 both at 2 PM Eastern.
