Hi
Another source for almond flour is to grind your own. I buy 3 LB bags of raw
almonds at Costco, approx. cost $5.00. Then grind a cup at a time as needed
in my food processor with a metal blade. The resulting "flour" is not as
fine as commercially available and darker but works fine in the one cookie
recipe I use where it is the only flour. I also use it in the almond bread
recipe recently posted and in a muffin recipe where I combine 1 cup of it
with 1 cup of sorghum flour. I did have one friend tell me it wouldn't work
in her food processor which was the same brand as mine but newer. Mine is
approx. 25 years old.
