Here are the homemade taco seasoning recipes I received:
Brown and Drain:
2 lbs Ground Beef
Add:
1 Tbsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp salt and Pepper
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
3/4 Cup Pace Salsa
6 oz can Hunt's Tomato Paste
1 cup water
Simmer for 10 minutes or until liquid is absorbed
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Taco Seasoning
2 teaspoons instant onion, Minced
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper, Crushed
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon instant garlic, Minced
1/2 teaspoon cumin, Ground
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We don't even use it - just use cumin, chili powder, salt or sub, garlic
- add some bouillon. Use a good tablespoon of the chili powder, a
teaspoon of cumin; add a teaspoon of sugar to offset any saltiness from
bouillon. We also add green peppers and onion for more flavor.

This recipe fits in a pint jar. I buy the ingredients at a local health food store and they assure me they are pure.
Mexican Taco Season Mix
1/4 c dried, Minced onion flakes
4 tsp cornstarch
3 tbsp salt (I go easy on this)
4 tbsp chili powder
3 tsps cumin
1 1/2 tsp oregano
1 tbsp dried minced garlic
1 tbsp hot crushed red pepper
2 tsp gf beef bouillon
Store in tight container. To use mix: Brown 1 lb ground beef, add 2 tbsp taco mix and stir in 3/4 c water. Simmer 15-20 min. Very Good.
