Oh, yes.  I once ate an apple and a pear from the standard grocery without
washing them first.  Broke out with urticaria (hives).  Apparently there
was something on those fruits of a toxic nature.  I used antihistamines too
for a few days, then just stopped those and ate lots of raw fats.  Still,
it took about 2 weeks to clear up.  Now I will only eat organic
foods.  Hasn't happened since.
