One network card each computer. Do not know what is "interface on the
motherboard".
NET VIEW in both computers shows host computer
NET VIEW \\othercomputer in both computers produces "Error 53. The
computer name specified in the network path cannot be located."
NET USE in both computers produces "There are no entries in the list."
NET USE j: \\othercomputer\myshare in both computers produces Error 53.
NET USE j: \\othercomputeripaddress\myshare produces Error 53.

Able to get three computer configuration (pawn shop symbol) in Entire
Network, Network Neighborhood, on both computers. All three computer
symbols, when clicked, show host computer.

Nowhere have I seen other computer show on either computer. Both have
Win98. On each, on Startup, get network logon dialog box.
